Annual meeting of plant lovers takes place for the 13th time at the Botanic Garden on Saturday, 3 June from 10 am to 3 pm.

This year’s Garden Day is dedicated to the Botanic Garden’s 220th anniversary.

You can discover fascinating plants and buy your own favourites. Any gardening enthusiast can find something to add to their garden at the Botanic Garden.

Spring gardening season is here and it’s a good time to check out exciting plant trends, ask for gardening advice and find new plant residents for your garden. During the event, you can learn about the local varieties growing in your garden, get advice from plant collectors and breeders on growing different plants and choosing a variety, and buy seedlings of local and foreign varieties.

On the garden day at 11.30 am, visitors will also have the opportunity to attend a lecture by gardener Riho Teras. “From the gooseberry to the heather, not forgetting the tundra heather – exciting heather flowers for the home garden”.. R. Teras will give instructions and tips on what to look out for when buying seedlings and how to grow heather in the home garden.

On the garden day, plants will be sold by a number of growers. On this occasion:
