In the framework of the Oisu Aganikufestival, the agricultural company Estonia OÜ organised a rye harvest festival. Rye was harvested with sickles, rye hoes and rye hooks were made. Some of the rye was also cut with a trailed mower. Representatives of the Genebank also took part on this event.
The Oisu Aganikufestival is a rural festival that combines agriculture and rural traditions of Estonia.
In the straw‑bale festival area you can see an exhibition of historical agricultural machinery, butter making, cow milking, homemade bread competition, threshing demonstrations, and a there is a straw‑mud playground for children.
